IMPLANTS, A Predictable Way To Replace Teeth

What's a Dental Implant?

Every day patients come to us with a major concern that they are missing a tooth, or multiple teeth, and would like to have them replaced with dental implants.  Dental Implants are the ideal way to replace missing teeth mainly because they are fixated to your bones much in the same way as a normal tooth root.

Dental Implants are made of titanium.  This titanium is 100% biocompatible with your body, which allows for easy osseointegration into your bones.

Not everyone is a candidate for dental implants, and so it is important to understand that a proper assessment of your health status and availability and quality of bone must be performed first in order to determine if you qualify for implant tooth replacement.

Implants typically take 4-6 months to complete for standardized cases.  This is because it typically takes 3-4 months for the implant itself to heal within the bone before it is ready to accept the crown that replaces your missing tooth.

The best thing about implants is that we can be more conservative in trying to maintain the integrity of your adjacent teeth, and ultimately the implant will function and look almost exactly like your normal teeth.
